Martin is once again at the centre of another epic book and film where he faces some of his most impossible missions ever. Played out against a back drop of the British Countryside, a journey that has filled his life since childhood.
The book charts his last 25 years of angling for some of Britain's rarest and biggest fish while the film encapsulates the many flavours of our seasons as he pursues a monster common carp.
Of course, the film would not represent a true specimen hunters year without the many other species that are encountered along the way that add to the excitement and help to tell a tale you will not want to miss.
From town to valley, river to lake, come and experience this endearing adventure through Martin's eyes.....
Both will be available from November 2010 offering the best possible way to spend the long winter nights, in the company of ' A Fish For All Seasons'.

With my local river in serious decline as a barbel fishery I have tried to be pro active over recent months in raising awareness of its plight. I was pleased then to meet prospective Conservative candidate for Chippenham, Wilfred Emmanuel Jones on a river side stroll. The press release gained from this visit gave me a little more hope that someone was listening and maybe the river can be restored to its former glory......
Chippenham residents are fortunate to have access to free fishing on the Avon in the centre of town. Martin explained that it is important that fish stocks are maintained to ensure the future of this tranquil activity. Rivers are complex ecosystems that require monitoring, good water quality and habitat.
Wilfred said 'Martin reiterated the huge social, environmental and economic benefits of angling as a cheap and healthy form of recreation. Our constituency is very fortunate to have such as great resource and we must maintain, improve and develop our fish stocks. I was fascinated to hear about the issues from Martin and will endeavour, if elected, to ensure that anglers' voices are heard in this constituency."
Wilfred continued 'angling is an excellent activity for all ages to participate in and Martin has some great ideas and projects for extending the availability of angling to others in society.'
The River Avon was also the backdrop for last week's TV debate in Bristol, where so many commented on the beauty - but probably so few understood the the exciting world that lies beneath the water's surface.

With the UK in the grip of the coldest winter in decades, its more than tempting to put your feet up with your favourite angling publication, a hot drink and watch the weather unfold from the warm side of the window.
I'll be out on the banks , but keeping clear of the rivers in the short-term. Not only are we experiencing serious minus temperatures at night, we also have the added hinderance of melting snow running in, not to mention the tons of rock salt finding its way into the river systems.
I'll be targeting stillwater pike and perch for my best catch chances. These species will be moving into the shallows in a few weeks for spawning.
Try a Dynamite herring for pike and a small livebait for perch.
Wrap up and be lucky!

Dynamite have done it once again with a range of baits for 2009 that will help anglers achieve their dreams. The classic Source range now has a pellet, groundbait and paste addition while the tiger nut comes in a new pellet form which is sure to keep you ahead of the game. Always pushing the boundaries of bait technology three new boilies will also hit the shelves endorsed by Terry Hearn and Frank Warwick. So get ready for your best season ever as the carp really won't be able to resist. Dynamite are exploding with new ideas.
(Terry Hearn's Red Fish Boilie)
Terry says;
"Red Fish is based on the same highly successful recipe as the Fresh Fish boilies, but with the inclusion of that all time classic big carp ingredient, Robin Red. My number one choice of bait over the past couple of years and one which has already accounted for the biggest residents from several different venues. Remove the doubt, get on the Red Fish!"
(Frank Warwick's Spicy Tuna & Sweet Chilli Boilies)
Frank says:
"I have always known that carp love tuna in its various forms and also that tasty spices such as chilies and paprika have strong pulling power. So Tuna meal was sourced and along with a number of feed inducing inclusions this bait was formulated to positively stand out from the crowd. Of course, there are many great baits available out there, but with results from field testing trials by myself and other carp anglers; it would be no understatement to say I think this bait is set to be an all time classic of epic proportions. My results during trials have been nothing short of sensational."
(Terry Hearn's Chocolate Malt & Tiger Nut Boilie)
Terry says:
"Based on my favourite yellow birdfood recipe, with the inclusion of the best in liver powders along with a little tiger nut meal for improved texture, this is one that's sure to be favoured by both carp and carp anglers alike. Whether you're looking for a boilie for a cold water campaign, one the fish will come back for time and time again, or if you're looking for a warm water bait to make you stand out from the crowd, then the birdfood based Chocolate Malt's a winner!"
(Monster Tiger Nut Pellets 4mm, 6mm & 8mm)
These pellets were developed using real Tiger Nut flour and Tiger Nut milk to maximise the natural sugars and attractors associated with Tiger Nuts.
These pellets work as well in winter as they do in summer due to the fast breakdown and the fact they are very easy for a carp to digest.
They are devastating when fished in conjunction with Tiger Nut boilies and liquid attractant.
New Additions to the Source Range
(Source Pellets 4mm, 6mm, & 8mm)
These pellets are made using the same ingredients that are used to make the Source boilies. They are designed to give off their amino attractors the minute they enter the water and will bring carp into your swim very quickly.
They are designed to break down leaving a bed of bait which triggers the carp in to feeding.
(Source Groundbait)
This groundbait was again made by using the same ingredients as in the Source boilie and is designed to be used as a Method Mix, Spod mix or can be simply mixed with the pellets and "balled in" to form a bed of bait on the lake bottom.
(Source Paste)
Terry designed this high leakage paste to wrap around your hook bait boilie, which will give off instant attraction and form a cloud around your hook bait, proving irresistible to the inquisitive nature of a carp.
(Source Soft Hook Pellets 4mm, 6mm & 10mm)
This Pellet has been designed again using the Source ingredients and attractors and is ideal for fishing on the pole, waggler or stalking for Big Carp down the edge or in the margins.
